The best place to be
Marbella is beautifully situated on the Costa Del Sol, Spain. It is around 60 km away from Malaga and is filled with plenty of quiet corners to enjoy. Marbella is considered to be the most popular holiday destination in Spain. Marbella is not only about lively nightclubs and bars but has pristine beaches to explore, some world-class museums with art galleries to visit, and incredible architecture to witness.
Marbella enjoys 320 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of 19º C. This is due to its micro-climate, as it is flanked by the warm Mediterranean and the Sierra Blanca, which protects it from the worst weather conditions. The winters here are mild and bright and the summers are hot and dry.
One of Marbella’s greatest delights is its cobbled streets and colorful doors. With a typically Arab layout, the places you cannot miss in the old town are the Castle, an Arab and medieval construction that will transport you to the past. It is also a must to visit the Plaza de los Naranjos, where the political and social heart of the city is located. The historic center of Marbella has an Engraving Museum, which is considered one of the best of its kind in all of Spain.
